Home renovation

Complete home renovations in Madrid and Menorca. We keep what is valuable in every house and adapt it to the way we live today.

What we do

We guide you through the whole renovation: the survey and assessment of the property, the design, the building licence or responsible declaration, and site supervision until handover.

We work both on Madrid flats — many from the early 20th century, with joinery, floors and ceilings worth keeping — and on traditional Menorcan houses with marès stone walls, vaults and courtyards.

Energy efficiency

Every renovation is a chance to improve comfort and cut energy use: insulation, new windows, ventilation and efficient services. We advise you on the energy-renovation grants your home may qualify for.

How we work

  1. Visit and assessment. We get to know the house and what you need.
  2. Outline design. Layout, materials and a cost estimate.
  3. Design and permits. Technical documents and the application to the council.
  4. Building works. Site supervision through to completion.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a licence to renovate my home?
It depends on the scope. In Madrid many interior renovations only require a responsible declaration, while works affecting the structure, the façade or protected elements need a licence. In Menorca the procedure depends on each town council. We review your case and tell you which one applies.

How long does a complete renovation take?
It depends on the size of the home and the permits. As a guide, design and permits usually take a few weeks and the works several months.

Do you work all over Menorca?
Yes. We have an office in Mahón and work across the island.
