This 1905 family house has been renovated with respect for its original character, restoring the joinery, the historic floors and the marès stone walls typical of the island. Inspired by the restraint of John Pawson and Jørn Utzon, the project relies on natural materials such as stone, marble and wood to create calm, light-filled spaces connected to the garden. Traditional furniture and contemporary pieces balance history and modernity.
This complete renovation added a guest bathroom and an open kitchen filled with daylight. It created a generous living room with views and a practical terrace, improving how the spaces work and relate to each other. The bookcase was designed following golden-ratio proportions, bringing balance, rhythm and harmony to the interior.
This penthouse overlooking the Sierra de Guadarrama was transformed from a disjointed space into two bedrooms and an open-plan living room and kitchen. Its terraces enjoy spectacular sunsets, while the interior takes on a personal style marked by design icons from the 1960s and 70s.
A minimal, reversible intervention that turns a one-bedroom flat into a three-bedroom home, adapting it to the family’s new needs. The project works with precision and economy of means, using 100% recyclable materials and demountable systems so the space can change again in the future without leaving a permanent trace.
